The Boys and Girls Ranches of Alabama
Charity Navigator has designated the Boys & Girls Ranches of Alabama as a Four Star Charity. Their ratings are based on a non-profit organization's financial health and commitment to transparency and accountability. We are one of only 17 charities in Alabama to receive their top rating.
We have also been awarded the 2018 Gold Seal of Transparency by GuideStar. There are fewer than 100 charities in Alabama that have received this designation by one of the premier nonprofit databases. Thank you for supporting us and the wonderful children in our care statewide.

Ranch supporters can become honorary members of the Boys and Girls Ranches of Alabama for a $20 annual fee. The fee for business members is $50 annually.
The Ranches appreciate gifts of materials and services as well as cash. Examples of material gifts would include anything from property, clothing, washers and dryers, furniture, lawn equipment or other types of equipment, livestock, home furnishings, and recreational equipment. If you would like to donate non-monetary items to the Ranches please click here to fill out an informational form and someone from the Ranches will call you or you may call the Administrative Office in Montgomery at 1-800-548-4256 and they will arrange to have your items picked up.
You can donate many different types of vehicles to the Ranches and utilize tax savings benefits in the process. In general, you can claim the fair market value of your vehicle on your itemized federal tax return, but for specific information on your tax benefits, please contact your tax advisor or go to IRS.gov. Types of vehicles we can accept include automobiles, tractors, and boats. If you would like to donate a vehicle, please click here to fill out an informational form and someone from the Ranches will call you or you may call the Administrative Office in Montgomery at 1-800-548-4256 and they will arrange to have your vehicle picked up.
Honor and memorial gifts are wonderful tributes to loved ones as well as a great investment in precious young lives. These donations are given in memory of a person or as a remembrance of a special occasion. A card of acknowledgment is promptly sent to the person or family being remembered.
There are several ways that you can give directly to the Ranches through payroll deduction. Federal Employees can contribute through the Combined Federal Campaign by selecting #81479. State Employees can give through the State Combined Campaign by selecting #999978. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we appreciate the generosity of our local community. If your company or organization is interested in sponsoring an event, donating goods, food, items or time to your local Ranch, please contact the administration office or send us an e-mail. Does your company offer a matching gift program? You can often double the impact of your charitable gift by accessing your employer's matching gift program.
